「知半庵」が国の登録有形文化財になりました。
「知半庵」は2012年2月23日付で、国の登録有形文化財となりました。
この一年余、文化財調査のため「知半アートプロジェクト」をしばらくお休みにしておりましたが、これにて再開の運びとなり、エキサイティングでおもしろい文化イベントを準備中です。

Chihan'an is now officially a National Cultural Treasure of Japan!
We are happy to announce that the Agency for Cultural Affairs (Bunka-cho), a division of Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monka-sho, MEXT) has designated Chihan'an as a National Cultural Treasure! The government of Japan announced this major recognition officially on February 28, 2012. Prior to the announcement, the city government of Izu-no-kuni held a press conference at Chihan'an for print and broadcast media. We hope this designation will broaden the art project’s reach and enhance its scope.
The government's historical and architectural research and investigation on Chihan'an took almost two years.During the government's process, the Chihan Art Project hosted no programs. We are delighted to announce, however, that Chihan arts programming will resume shortly. Planning for our 2013 Spring event is underway!
